Construction and Analysis of Cost-Benefit Appraisal Model for Information Technology Application in Universities

Over the last decade,universities have invested significant capital into information technology.All stakeholders concern about the effectiveness of IT.However,the theoretical study of cost-benefit appraisal with IT in education lags behind its practical application.There has no an integrated cost-benefit model for university administrators to provide a basis for IT investment decision making.To address this issue,this paper proposes a cost-benefit appraisal model for IT application in higher education,and also presents practical application steps.We look forward to helping universities to make the right IT investment decisions,and to promoting the deepening of the process of educational informationization.
