DBR-based Rapid Design Model for Foreign Language Courses

Course design is essentially a dynamic and complex process in that course format and elements are in constant change.In particular,there have long been gaps between research in foreign language course design and its relevant practices.The analysis of the DBR paradigm and Rapid Design Approach leads to the findings that the integration of design-based research and rapid prototyping into a DBR-based rapid design model for foreign language courses can provide a general framework for course design practices in different contexts,thus bridging course design practices and research while enhancing efficiency in the process,which is an effort to sustainable innovation in curriculum development.
