Design and Implementation of an Adaptive Testing and Tutoring System

The appearance of Internet provides a strong method that can break through astrict of traditional education,and provides a convenient way and environment.The traditional learning testing and tutoring can be used to students through Internet.This paper presents an adaptive testing and tutoring system based on Item Response Theory(IRT).The architecture of this system,the working flow and the function of main modules are specified.Finally,the effectiveness of the system is proved.
