Design and Implementation of Elementary School Solid Geomery Teaching Platform Based on the Flash3D Technology

The cultivation of space concept is one of the most important teaching objectives of mathematics curriculum in elementary school.Because of lacking visual operable learning tools,the current teaching process can’t meet the teaching demand in solid geometry.According to this problem,the article designed and implemented the Elementary School Solid Geomery Teaching Platform.This article elaborated the design philosophy,main functions and system framework of the platform,introduced the new emerging Flash3D technology,and explained the develop process of Alternativa3D in detail,which is a most popular Flash3D Engine and the base of platform.The platform has several features such as: realistic three-dimensional scene,rich perceptual resources,friendly interactive mode,etc.It is a successful attempt that applying new technology in teaching.
