TIAN Ai-li;The MOOCs Centre, East China Normal University;
In view of the problems in the implementation of current classroom teaching system and its possible improvement ideas, this paper introduced the principle and the implementation forms of the Dalton Plan in the United States. It was found that the Dalton Plan took the autonomous cooperation as principle and adopted the forms of assigning homework, recording academic progress, establishing laboratories in order to meet students' personalized learning needs and cultivate the students' autonomous learning ability. Based on this, this paper analyzed the effets and shortcomings of the Dalton Plan implemented in China during the early 1920 s, explored the reasons of its failure and made a dialectical reflection on it. Combined with the current advantages of "Internet + Era", this paper proposed a feasible idea for current Chinese classrrom teaching reform, which integrated the advantages of the Dalton Plan and the classroom teaching system to promote the hybrid education.
