Research on the Quality Evaluation Index System for the Educational APP based on the PACTS Model

How to design a scientific evaluation model to examine the vast educational APPs has become an important issue in the precise integration of the APP and education in the new age. Therefore, this paper first sorted out the current problems of educational APP, then drew on relevant achievements from the educational software evaluation research, further creatively proposed the PACTS(pedagogics, art, content, technology, service) model, which was a quality evaluation model for the educational APP, and took the teaching, art, content, technology and service as the core. Finally, the quality evaluation index system for the educational APP based on the PACTS model was designed from five dimensions. The results of this paper will provide reference for APP designers to improve education application products, design effective educational APPs, and promote the development and application of educational APP.
