Study on the Learning Environment Design From the Perspective of Learning Science

Learning science and learning environment design are inextricably linked. The article begins with the connotation and elements of the learning environment, taking "formal learning" and "informal learning" as the abscissas, and "online" and "offline" as the ordinate to classify the learning environment. Based on this foundation, the article analyzes the relationship between learning science and learning environment design. Meanwhile, the article combs the research issues of learning environment design from different perspectives, and believes that the integration of learning environment types and learning mechanisms is a significant research issue in learning environment design. Finally, the article proposes that learning environment design faces three challenges: the interaction of human-computer interaction, reflection on learning needs, and creative thinking.
