Study on the Polysaccharides from Cyanobacteria

Cyanobacteria are O 2-released photosynthesis prokaryotes which have chlorophyl a.They include a large variety of species of widespread. They are different in morphologic,physiologic and biochemia properties. It was known that many of them can synthesis outermost slimy investments and to release polysaccharidic material into the culture medium. These polysaccharides can be easily recovered from the medium and attract much interest in their potential application. This paper is a summary to the study on the cyanobacteria and their polysaccharides.
