The current study was designed to detect SNPs within BMPR-IB gene of Duolang sheep. The primers for BMPR-IB gene was designed from database sheep sequence and polymorphisms was detected by PCR-RFLP method. The results indicated that there were different genotypes,namely++(94.12%) and B+(5.08%).It was deduced that there was BB genotype. These results intensively showed that there may be a same mechanism on litter size between Brooroola sheep and Duolang sheep.
