Exorphins in the Plant that Regulate Growth Metabolism in Goats with Protein Bypass Rumen Protection

This paper has applied the technique of bypass rumen protection to prevent the wheat protein in forage by breakdown of microbial.Thus,it can enter into abomasum and small intestine,in which bioactive peptides are resolved and can play a regulation role in growth metabolism.The activity of plant exorphins in different digesta was determined with the system of frog heart circulation in vitro and with naloxone-specific inhibitor of exorphins.Comparing the contrast period with the experiment period,the results were as follows:Grass feeding quantity increased significantly from 4.65±0.231 to 6.413±0.039 kg/d(P≤0.001).The concentration of insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)in serum increased significantly from 153.647±18.670 to 223.993±19.450 ng/ml(P≤0.01).The concentration of growth hormone(GH) in serum increased significantly from 23.170±0.891 to 26.792±1.003 ng/ml(P≤0.01).The concentration of insulin in serum increased significantly from 18.103±1.035 to 23.983±1.600 ng/ml(P≤0.01).The concentration of amino nitrogen in serum increased significantly from 0.102±0.003 to 0.140±0.004 mM/ml(P≤0.01).The concentration of ammonia nitrogen in serum decreased significantly from 0.206±0.012 to 0.086±0.006 mM/ml(P0.001).Both the abomasum fluid of escape protein from rumen and common rumen fluid could enhance myocardium contraction force significantly,and the effect was reversed significantly by naloxone,so it could prove that the different digesta had the activity of exorphins.All those proved that using protein by-passs rumen protection technique plant exorphins effectively enhanced regulation effects in growth metabolism and utilization ratio of forage protein was increased as well.
