According to whether they have MS,they were divided into MS group( 1656 cases) and control group( 2945 ones). Comparison was made in the MS indicators and metabolic diseases between the two groups. Results The morbidity rate of MS was 35. 99%. The body mass index( BMI),systolic blood pressure( SBP),fasting blood sugar( FBS),LDH-C,and TG in MS group significantly increased compared with those indexes in the control group. And the morbidity of obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and coronary artery disease in MS group significantly increased compared with that in the control group. Lower urinary tract symptoms( LUTS) were more severe in MS group than those in the control group, and the differences were significant.
