Clinical characteristics of patients with cerebral arterial thrombosis at different ages and the curative effects of Ozagrel

Ma Rujing;Department of Neurology, People's Hospital of Qian'an City;
Objective To explore the clinical characteristics of patients with cerebral arterial thrombosis at different ages and the clinical curative effects of ozagrel. Methods 218 patients with cerebral arterial thrombosis were selected as research objects.According to the age levels, those were divided into young, middle-aged, and elderly groups. The clinical characteristics were compared among the three groups. All the patients were randomly divided into sodium ozagrel group(group A, n =109) and aspirin group(group B, n =109). Comparison was made in the difference of neurologic impairment degree scores, curative effects, and the incidence of adverse reactions before and after the treatment between the two groups. Results(1) Among the 218 cases, the proportion of elderly patients was significantly higher than that of the young and middle-aged patients. There was no significant difference in the sex distribution among the three groups(P 0.05). The main TOAST etiological types of the young group were mainly LAA and UND.The cerebral vascular examination showed single vessel stenosis or no obvious abnormality. TOAST etiological types of the middle aged and elderly groups were mainly LAA and SAO, and the cerebral vascular examination showed multi-vessel stenosis(P 0.05).(2) Two and eight weeks after the treatment, the NFDS scores of group A and B were significantly lower than those before the treatment, and the decline in group A was greater than that in group B(P 0.05).(3) Two and eight weeks after the treatment, the total effective rates of group A were 70.6% and 73.4% which were significantly higher than those of group B(56.9% and 60.6%)( P 0.05).(4) There were no adverse reactions occurring in the two groups. Conclusion There are differences in the clinical characteristics of patients with cerebral arterial thrombosis at different ages. Sodium ozagrel has certain long and short term curative effects on cerebral arterial thrombosis and can effectively promote the regeneration of the injured nerve, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
