Objective To investigate the clinical curative effects of azithromycin combined with dehydroandrographolide succinate on children with mycoplasma pneumonia. Methods 100 children with mycoplasma pneumonia were divided into two groups with 50 cases in each group. Azithromycin was given to the control group, while dehydroandrographolide succinate was given to observation group. Comparison and observation were made in the treatment effects and cellular immunity indicators after the treatment between the two groups. Results The cure rate and effective rate of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P 0.05). Compared with the indexes before the treatment, the CD4+and the CD4+/CD8+of the two groups increased, while the CD8+decreased after the treatment(all P 0.05). However, there was no significant difference in CD3+before and after the treatment. After the treatment, the CD4+and CD4+/CD8+of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, while the CD8+of the former group were lower than those of the latter(all P 0.05). Conclusion Azithromycin combined with dehydroandrographolide succinate for the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia has significant clinical curative effects, which may be correlated with its improvement in children's cellular immune function.
