An Experimental Study of the Effects of Steep Pulse Treatment on Liver Cancer of Rabbit Monitored by Ultrasound

Objective:To study the effect of ultrasound in the process of treating liver cancer of rabbit with steep pulse and the validity of the therapy. Methods:A rabbit liver tumor model was constructed and the rabbits were divided into the control group and the experimental group,which were subjected to steep pulse treatment and fake treatment,respectively. The ultrasound was used in plotting and real time monitoring. The target volume was observed by ultrasound and microscope 0,1,4,7 and 14 days later. Results:Ultrasound played a good role in plotting and monitoring in the process of steep pulse therapy. Extensive coagulation necrosis was noticed in microscopic examination. Conclusions:Steep pulse can lead to irreversible damage to cancer cells. As a supplementary means,ultrasound can be used in the steep pulse treatment and in post-operation monitoring.
