Comparison of the middle late stage development between TPSGMS wheat C 49S 87 and its restoring lines in Yunnan plateau

Comparitive studies on the development of main stem and population in middle late stages between Thermo Photo Sensitive Genic Male Sterile(TPSGMS)wheat C49S 87 and 6 restoring lines from Yunnan were conducted.Results showed that there were differences in development stages after flag leaf flatting between C49S 87 and 6 Yunnan restoring lines,however,if both the male and female parents plants and their population basically had the same dates of flag leaf flatting,the flowering dates of both parents would meet well,which could be used as one of the main morphological indicators of flowering dates prediction and identification in hybrid wheat seed production during middle late stages.
