Effects of different feed additive on growth performance and carcass meat quality of finishing pigs

The effects of lysine,VE and VB on growth performance and carcass meat quality of finishing pigs were studied.The result showed that the average daily gain(ADG) of the experiment groups supplemented with 100g/100kg lycine,45 g/100kg VB and 20 g/100kg VE were improved significantly and increased by 72g(P0.05),43.7g and 29.8g(P0.01) as compared with control group,respectively.Feed:gain(F/G) were reduced(P0.05).The carcass meat qualities of trial pigs were improved by Lycine,VE and VB.Longissimus muscle area of lycine group and VB group increased by 22.54 %and 17.29 %,fatback thickness of VE group and lycine group reduced by 23.13 % and 14.18 %,the lean rate of VE group,lysine group and VB group increased by 10.36 %(P0.05),7.42 %(P0.05)and 4.62 %(P0.05)as compared with control group,respectively.Color score and marble lines of lysine group and VE group increased by 18.87 %,20 % and 18.87 %,30 %,loss water rate of VE group reduced by 48.47 %,intramuscular fat content of VE group,VB group and lysine group increased by 25 %,23.93 %and 10.71 %as compared with control group,respectively.Composite selection index was used to evaluate the effects of lycine,VE and VB on finishing pigs.The results showed that the improved effect of VE on finishing performance and meat qualities of trial pigs was the best.
