Disinfect Effect and Mechanism of Fangxiaolin, A New Disinfectant for Silkworm Rearing, on Polyhedron Viruses and Prbrine Sporozoa

Fangxiaolin is a new disinfectant prepared by Sericulture Institute,Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences and characterized by high efficiency,broad spectrum and stable chemical property.After pebrine sporozoa(N.b)and polyhedron viruses(BmCPB and BmNPB) were treated with Fangxiaolin,and then inoculated per os to the silkworms,it was found that the control efficiency of this agent was 98%-99 7%.Scanning electron microscope observation showed that the pathogens showed deformity,adhesion, perforation,dissolution and distroyed morphological structure,finally inactivation.Rural trials and regional trials showed that the control effect of Fangxiaolin was equal to that of bleaching powder,even better.
