Super High Yield Principles of Super Sparse Cultivation Associating With Super Multiple Tillers in Medium Hybrid Rice

The super sparse cultivation(SSC)associating with super multiple tillers in medium hybrid rice is a new cultivation method which was established by the authors in recent years and a great deal of production practice has been done.This cultivation method can attain high yield or super high yield and the production cost is lower.In this paper,the super high yield principle of the new cultivation method is summarized with the data collected in our serial experiments.It is obvious that the new cultivation method,compared with the conventional close cultivation (CCC)method has several advantages:①improving seedling quality effectively and establishing more appropriate population structure;②more outstanding individual stem growth advantage,more flourishing and vigorous root system and more excellent spike properties;③Having coordinated contradictions between the individual plants and the population,and the multispikes and the big spikes,and being able to attain high yield or even super high yield of hybrid rice.
