Application of Mathematical Model in Screening Mixing Proportion

It was usually used that screen the optimum proportion of combination insecticides through the base of co-toxicity coefficient evaluating joint action of two insecticides,but it could lead to miss of the best proportion in fact.Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton and Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenée were used to bioassay chlorpyrifos,beta-cypermethrin,fipronil,triazophos,chlorpyrifos beta-cypermethrin and fipronil triazophos respectively.SPSS was used to establish mathematical model of co-toxicity coefficient and arcsine value of the proportion in combination insecticides.The mathematical models of chlorpyrifos beta-cypermethrin and fipronil triazophos were Y1=109.884+1.743X1-0.012X21,Y2=195.804+4.153X2-0.044X2,respectively.Accounting the differential coefficients of the above models,it was received that two equations are Y′1=1.743-0.024X1 and Y′2=4.153-0.088X2,respectively.If Y=0,then X1=72.250 and X2=47.193.Put X1 and X2 to the corresponding models and it can draw a conclusion that the most significant co-toxicity coefficients of chlorpyrifos beta-cypermethrin and fipronil triazophos were 172.525 and 293.801,and the most significant synergism appropriate proportions of combinations were 10∶1 and 1.2∶1.
