Kinetic and Thermodynamic Studies on Absorption of Anion Exchange Fiber in Baicalin

The absorption performance of baicalin by means of self-made anion exchange fiber(IEF)has been studied.The absorption equilibrium data of baicalin on IEF within the temperature range of 298~ 333Kand the concentration range of 10~60mg/L accorded with the Langmuir-type and Freundlich-type adsorption isotherm equations.Furthermore,the adsorption enthalpy,the Gibbs free energy and the entropy have been obtained.Besides,Moving Boundary Model has been applied to describe the absorption kinetics of baicalin on IEF.For the dominant procedure of ion diffusion through IEF,the apparent activation energy 41.08kJ/mol,reaction order 2.190,rate speed constant 8.435×10-4 and kinetics equation have been obtained.
