Mechanism of preventive effect of QiCong on Cardiac function disorder due to highland

Change of cardiac function might happen to persons living on plain who quickly enter Tibet plateau,Before entering the highland,66 persons were divided into two groups: QiCong group,including 32 young men who took exercise with Qiyuan QiCong for 4 weeks;Control group,including 34 persons who exercised with exercise to radio music,The results showed that at the highland, the attack rate of altitude stress and abnormal blood pressure, heart rate,oxygen consumption and the weighted integral Value of Symptoms due to highland, Were statistically lower in QiCong group than in control group:the index number of cardiac function of both the two group statistically lowered at Tibet plateau and TPR in QiCong group was statistically lower than in control group,but the indexes such as sl,cl,Ac,HI,etc of QiCong group were statistically higher than those of Control group,It is suggested that exercise with QiCong could prevent cardiac function disorder due to highland and needs in-depth studies.
