Teaching Method Exploration and Teaching Reform The effect analysis of Local and Foreign English Teachers' co-teaching Intensive Reading in Tibet University

Intensive Reading,as a very important course in English teaching,has a tremendous bearing on students.The traditional way of teaching intensive reading in Tibet University was concentrated on grammar,vocabulary and sentence structure only,but to a great extent it neglected to develop students' communicative ability.Moreover,lacking authentic materials for intensive reading course caused difficulties in developing students' communicative ability.Therefore,the Foreign Language Department of the School of Tourism and Foreign Language has implemented the local and foreign teachers' co-teaching intensive reading.This new teaching method mainly aims at improving the deficiencies of the traditional ones and to develop students' mastering of the language,more specifically,their listening,speaking,reading and writing ability.
