Analysis of the Contents and Cultural Features of Bonism Ritualist Scriptures Lai Wu Among Local People

The Bonism rituralist scriptures Lai Wu has been circulating among people since ancient time.Its contents is diverse and complex which covers all aspects of Bonism culture which has great significance in researching about Bonism culture.There are many different types of Lai Wu scriptures and generally they can divided into seven categories which are sacrifices to gods;relieve from mephitis;necromancy;fortune-telling book;control of demons and ghosts;avert by prayers;pray for luck and fortune.Almost all these scriptures are related to avert by prayers.The date of these scriptures are unknown and these scriptures embody features of animism which is obvious from the contents of these scriptures.The scriptures are not standardized and have many spelling mistakes.They are also written in local dialect.However,these scriptures have great research value because they represent rich cultural information.
