On the Basic Problems in Research Field of Instructional Design

Some inevitable issues are going to emerge when the instructional design,instead of teaching techniques,becomes the focus of the research.A failure to find an effective and reasonable solution to these basic issues would block the way to deal with many other problems.Thus,there must be solutions.Yet,it is not easy to handle these problems because they are fundamental to some extent.A wide range of different views toward these issues leads to disputes and arguments.But diversity in understanding basic problems of discipline indicates the maturity of discipline development.This paper attempts to explore the basic problems in instructional design from three different point of views,namely about "what","why" and "how".
