THE TARGET HIT RATE OF OXYGEN-BLOWN CONVERTOR STEELMAKING STUDIED BY REGRESSIONAL ANALYSIS

A regressional analysis is made on the daily shop data log by courtesy of a certain steelmaking factory.Multi-varia- ble and step-by-step regressional equations are obtainedfor the increments of oxygen and ore consumption,which mirrors the overall C-contents in the molten steel and its final temperature. Approaches to step up the target hit rate are proposed.
