Geometric Correction Research on Satellite GF-1 Data

Studying the geometric correction model and the number of control points on the geometric correction accuracy of four GF-1PMS images is used by the GPS data from the field,and exploring how to use GF-1data reasonably improves the satellite data self using rate,and promotes the application of domestic satellite data.Geometric correction of GF-1data is used by the polynomial model and the rational function model,and precision analysis is usd by checkpoints and the corresponding points on the image.The results show that using rational function model for geometric correction on GF-1data will obtain better accuracy.Geometric correction of GF-1data is used by the rational function model with the GCPs of 25,20,15,10,5,1,0,respectively.After considering factors of human resource,time-consuming and accuracy,it concludes that,using 5GCPs on the geometric correction of GF-1data is the best choice when there is not a lot of mountains,however,if there is lots of mountains,it`d better add number of GCPs up to 10.
