Study of Effecting Factors on Emissivity Measurement by Integrating Sphere with Monte Carlo Simulation

An study about effecting factors on emissivity measurement in integrating sphere design anduse,in a combined method of numerical analysis theory and computer Monte Carlo ray tracing simulation.These factors include integrating sphere opening size,integrating sphere inside stained,the emissivity of the sample and reference sample,the radiation from the sphere,power of the light source,etc.The results show that the integrating sphere opening ratio had no significant effect of emissivity measurement,when integrating sphere inside stained and the difference of emissivity between reference and sample vary widely,emissivity measurements will have a deviation,integrating sphere’s self-radiation keeps emissivity measurements on the high side.When the difference of emissivity between reference and sample is less than 0.1,emissivitymeasurementerrorislessthan4‰I.ncleancondition,when the power of light source is higher than 100W,the influence of integrating sphere’s self-radiation on emissivity measurement is less than 5‰.
