THE RELATION BETWEEN ELLIPTICAL POLARIZATION WITH AXIAL RATIO OF RADIATION PATTERN FOR EQUIANGULAR SPIRAL ANTENNA AND ITS ARM LENGTH

We measured some main parameter of four-anm plane equal angle spiral antenna which has forty-five piteh angles, arm-wide factor and arm longth designed by senies. We obstained some regularity results. The far field measurement results and parameter analysis of five fiind antenna showeel the condution: The longer the arm length of the spinal antenna, the smaller the elliptic polarization axial ratio and the better the circular polarization of the directional characteristic. The piteh angle of the antenna is alout 80°-84°. The renge of the angle may provide the antenna design.
