A brief discussion on comprehensive reheating furnace energy saving technology

Through the analysis on both domestic and abroad development of reheating furnace,and based on the basic function of reheating furnace,a roadmap for energy saving technology reconstruction on reheating furnace was put forward. The paper mainly focused on the best available energy saving technologies which mainly involve with the design,operation and management of reheating furnace,analyzed the application and results of energy saving technologies at different levels,and the reference ways were given to maximize the reheating furnace energy saving under the condition of meeting the slab reheating quality.
