Review of User Involvement in Innovation Under Social Media Context

The rise of social media has promoted the ways of users involvement in innovation transform from offline towards online,making the character of user involvement distributing,networking and collaborating. The academics have gradually begun to pay attention to this change and produced some creative achievements. Based on the research progress of this topic,it interpreted the origin and content of user involvement in innovation under social media context,and classified the type of user involvement. Then,it summarized the existing research in line with the antecedents,processes and effects of user involvement in innovation under social media context,and proposed a research framework on the above analysis. Finally,it introduced the future directions in terms of users involvement in service innovation,identification of effective users,transfer process of user knowledge and innovation ecological network under social media context.
