Dielectric constant and electrical field distribution are deduced with a physica l model assuming that ball-shaped liquid crystal microdroplets are homogeneousl y distributed in the polymer without any interaction. The result shows that the e lectrical field within liquid crystals is uniform and its direction is the same as that of t he impressed electrical field. It further discussed with respect to the avera ge dielectric constant, resistance of liquid crystal and polymer, angle frequenc y of impressed electrical field and the volume ratio of LC to polymer.
