PROPERTIES OF HTNLCDs BY SECOND MINIMAL VALUE OF Δn·d

The value of parameter Δn·d and direction of polarizing film of HTNLCD was calculated by Jones matrix By second minimal value of Δn·d, the cell gap of normal HTNLCDs with defferent material and the mixture ratio relation between the various liquid crystal and several kinds of chairal material for HTNLCD were studied The electro-optical and viewing angle properties of HTNLCDs were researched in this paper The experimental results is shown that the theoretical calculation is correct and the industrial manufacture of HTNLCDs is feasible
