How to Get Rid of the Ruling Party's Tendency to be Divorced from the Masses

FEI Xun (Institute of Political Science and Law, Yangzhou University Yangzhou 225009)
In the new era of reforming and opening up to the outside world and the socialist modernization construction. Deng xiaoping's theory and its practice on combating bureaucracy, preventing and stopping the tendency to be divorced from the masses have enriched and developed the party's general line. According to the theory, we must: 1. Deal with the bureaucracy of the ruling Party by reforming its system of organization; 2. pay great attention to the influence of decadent ideas on the Party; fight and punish corruption firmly, and strengthen construction of a clean and honest administration, 3. set up good and effective rules and regulations so as not to cut ourselves off from the masses.
