Numerical Simulation Research of Plate Air Preheater

The models of air heat exchanger plate of plate structure and its flow channel were established.The numerical simulation was carried out for the flow and heat transfer of the fluid in the flow channel using the computational fluid dynamics software.The effects of different sizes of spacing columns on the performance of the equipment were compared and the velocity field,temperature field and pressure field in the flow channel were analyzed,and were compared with the test results,and it was concluded that the simulation analysis result deviates from the test result within 15%,indicating that this numerical simulation method can be used as a reliable means for design optimization.
