Effects of Chinese compound recipe Dishengzhu on IL-1β and IL-6 in brain of synthetic vascular dementia mouse

Objective To observe the effects of Chinese compound recipe Dishengzhu on the level of 1L-1βand IL-6 in brain hippocampal tissue of mouse models with vascular dementia.Methods 45 mouses were divided into 3 groups randomly and averagelv including the pseudo-operation group,the model control group and the Dishengzhu group,duplicated the synthetic vascular dementia mouse models through transient occlusion of bilateral carotid artery in the model control group and the Dishengzhu group.The Chinese medicine group is administed respectively with the compound recipe Dishengzhu while other groups with the normal saline only.The level of IL-1βand IL-6 in brain hippocampal tissue of mouse models was observed by the means of ELISA method 2 weeks later.Results Compared with the pseudo-operation group,the level of IL-1βand IL-6 in brain hippocampal tissue of mouses was improved apparently in the model control group(P 0.05).Compared with the model control group,the level of IL-1 B and IL-6 was markedly decreased in brain hippocampal tissue of mouses in Dishengzhu group (P 0.05).There were remarkable differences.Conclusion The curative effect of Chinese compound recipe Dishengzhu was remarkable by the mean of decreasing the level of IL-1βand IL-6 in brain hippocampal tissue and restraining inflammatory response.
