The research advancement of TLR in myocardial fibrosis by inflammation and immune response

Toll-like receptors(TLRs) are important receptors that mediate innate immune responses,have type I transmembrane proteins and recognize large amounts of exogenous ligands.Studies have shown that TLRs are not only resistant to pathogenic microbial invasion,but also in myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury,atherosclerosis,hypertension and other non-infectious lesions-mediated myocardial fibrosis plays a very important role.In this paper,we discuss the possible mechanism of TLR4,especially TLR4,in myocardial fibrosis,and hope that we can further elucidate the potential mechanism of myocardial fibrosis.At the same time,the prevention of muscle fibrosis provides a new perspective.
