On the Enhancement of the Students' Cross-cultural Awareness

The focus of foreign language teaching has switched from structures and forms to pragmatic communication.The role of cultural elements has drawn more and more attention.But so far,we have not seen a comprehensive and practical culture-teaching syllabus.Therefore,TCFL teachers should start from the enhancement of the students' cross-cultural awareness,train their ability in observing,comparing and absorbing different cultures and help them to analyze and solve problems by themselves.
