ZHU Jin-mei(Vietnam),WANG Ling-juan(China)(School of Literature and Journalism,Chongqing Normal University,Chongqing 400047,China)
This paper, from the perspectives of grammatical form, significance and function, analyzes the major similarities and differences of duplicative adjectives in Chinese and Vietnamese. It points out that because the Vietnamese students are always under the influence of the negative transfer of their mother tongue,a contrastive approach to teaching Chinese duplicative adjectives in TCFL is preferable.
