A Study of the Passive Sentence with Null Subject

ZHANG Wan-he (Department of Chinese,Fudan University,Shanghai 200433,China)
Active sense consists of controllability and willingness while passive sense consists of uncontrollability and unwillingness.Like other passive sentences, the passive sentence with null subject has the passive marker and carries the passive meaning. However, the passive sentence with null subject reflects the impact of something rather than the transitive relation with the verb as the focus, thus, belonging to special passive sentences.
