A summary of the new studies on Chinese onomatopoeic words in the past ten years

Onomatopoeic words refer to a special type of words that are formed by imitating the sounds associated with the objects or similar to natural sounds.There are a number of research papers on Chinese onomatopoeic words published between 2008 and 2018.This paper is a summary of the studies on Chinese onomatopoeic words in the past ten years,especially the new orientations and new changes in this field.
