A comment on comprehension monitoring instruction abroad

Comprehension Monitoring, as an important metacognitive process in reading, has attracted the interest of psychologists, educationists in the last two decades. Some inspiring findings have been achieved. In particular, the exploration into comprehension monitoring instruction has a practical value, which can help students to better their reading comprehension ability and invigorate instructional effects. This article aims to do some contribution to the development of the comprehension monitoring instruction in China throug a comment on three instructional training projets abroad.
