Influence of Mass Transfer Process of Solar Adsorption Refrigeration System with Valve Control

In the paper,the refrigeration performance of mass transfer process with valve control and mass transfer process without valve control have been researched and compared,meanwhile the relationship among maximum desorption temperature,closure valve time and system performance have been researched and analysed under mass transfer process with valve control,whose foundation is a fin-tube solar adsorption cooling system using activated carbon-methanol as working pairs.The experimental result showed that,in the same weather conditions,refrigeration performance of mass transfer process with valve control is averagely 36.7% higher than that without valve control;the system has the best refrigeration performance if valve is closed at 35 minutes after the adsorption collector bed achieving the maximum temperature,but refrigeration efficiency of system is lower if closure valve is later.The study results can offer references for design and optimization of solar adsorption refrigeration system.
