DC Side APF Design and Analysis Based on Energy Balance Principle

The voltage of DC side APF capacitance reflects the change of output power. A DC side APF design andanalysis method based on the energy balance principle is proposed and studied, the control circuit is simpler comparingwith convertional bridge inverter, and avoids complicated current reference calculation. The operation principle anddesign theory of the APF method are explained. Analysis and design of the APF controller of current loop and voltageloop are also given. A simulation with matlab is developed to verify the validity of this method.
