Study on Feature of Dry-Vibro Stone Column and Its Design Calculation

n this paper, the reason for improving bearing capacity of dry-vibro stone column is given. By means of experimental study, the law of stress transfer, effective column length, effect of protact column, and the relation between bearing capacity of composite foundation and replacement ratio of stone column are described.The method of caculating bearing capacity and settlement is found in according with the properties of dry-vibro stone column. The calculated result by this methodis satisfactory with practice and it can be used in engineering practice.
