Numerical simulation on progressive failure of loaded rock sample under pore hydraulic pressure

By using the soft were F-RFPA 2D of the coupling analysis of seepage and stress in rock failure process analysis,the influence of pore hydraulic pressure on strength,stress-strain curve and failure modes in rock sample was numerically simulated.The simulated result reveals the evolution of the stress and seepage field and progressive failure process of rock sample.It is shown that the pore hydraulic pressure has an important influence on the deformation,failure process and failure mode of the rock sample.
