On Narrative Intervention and Translator's Subjectivity Taking Famous European and American Short Stories Series as an Example

The "narrative intervention"of the text is implemented in different ways and means in translating Famous European and American Short Stories Series. The text of this translation is in line with the reading habits and aesthetic expectations of the readers in this period for it not only has the western modern novels' obvious distinguishing features in story and discourse,but also has Chinese narrative characteristics of traditional novels. Narrative intervention has strong explanatory power in displaying the existence of the subjectivity of the translator,analyzing the narrative features of novel in this period and studying the influence on the narrative mode of Chinese traditional novels.
