LI Ji-he;ZHANG Jiao-rong;School of Ethnology and Sociology,South-Central University for Nationalities;
The urban social identity of ethnic floating population has an important impact on the realization of integration. The questionnaire survey shows that the urban ethnic floating population highly recognizing the urban life,is very concerned about the local urban development; they have a high degree of recognition of local urban residents with a positive attitude towards their own children 's association with urban children. However,the recognition rate of urban social identity is relatively low,and without long-term willingness to live in city,there is a long way to go for the conversion from rural identity to urban identity. The Han residents hardly accept the ethnic floating population with little willingness to communicate. And they do not have a positive attitude towards their own children's association with the children of Muslim floating population,which leads to a small number of friends Muslim floating population having. Therefore,the urban social identity of ethnic floating population not only includes the recognition of the floating population to the urban society,but also needs the recognition of urban society to the floating population with due respect and tolerance.
