Marching against Translation Paradoxes:Rethinking Ku Hungming's Translating Strategy of The Discourse and Sayings of Confucius

Against the background of globalization,dialogic communication between East and West has been strengthened.Being the essence of Chinese national spirit,Chinese classics translation has undoubtedly acted as the backbone in cross-cultural communication.During the process of Chinese classics translation,different strategies face their respective 〝paradox〞.This paper deals with the cultural background,origin of these paradoxes.Meanwhile,under the guidance of Polysystem theory,translators should actively balance vicissitude strategies to do Chinese classics translation.
