HAN Hua.Department of Cardiology,The Third People's Hospital in Xinghua City,J iangsu Province 225700
Objective:To investigate the effects of fluvastatin on de creasing blood lipid level and recovering cardiovascular function of improving v ascular en dothelial cell function in patients with hypercholesterolemia.Methods:67 patients with hypercholesterolemia received fluvastatin 40mg qN,for 6 weeks .The levels of blood lipid and plasma endotheliolysin 1(ET-1) were detected pre tre atment and post treatment, with statisticed analysis. Results:The l evels of serum total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein ch olesterol (LDL c),ET 1 were significantly descended, but high density lipoprote in cholesterol (HDL-c) was significantly increased (P0 05 or P0 01). Conclusion:Fluvastatin has the effects of decreasing blood lipid leve ls and recovering the function of vascular endothelial cell, and suppressing the progression of atherosclerosis.
