The Application of Reduction of Homocysteine Level in Treatment of Cerebrovascular Diseases

Objective:To observe the comprehensive treatment effect of the cerebrovascular diseases caused by homocysteine.Methods: 275 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and contrast group.The contrast group was given normal treatment,while the treatment group was given VitB 12 、folic acid to reduce the level of homocysteine besides normal treatment.The healing rate,death rate and relapse rate were compared.Results:The cure rate in the treatment group was obviously higher than that in the contrast group(P0.01), the death rate and the relapse rate in the treatment group was lower than that in the contrast group(P0.01) and(P0.05), and the patients with accompanying symptoms in the former when rediagnosed were fewer (P0.05).The lever of homocysteine became higher when the patient relapsed or developed symptoms.Conclusion:It is scientific and reasonable to consider homocysteine as a dangerous factor in diagnosis and treatment of the diseases
